Jan Vaorin
Here is my TLDR:
Hi I’m Jan and I do IOT Software/Infrastructure. I co-organise the Rust Dortmund Meetup and Cyber-Security Working Group at Technical University Dortmund. I develop Corgi.Wiki and ez-breederpage in my free time.
My Talks:
Rust as an Alternative to React and Angular - 4th Rust Dortmund Meetup
I’m a master’s student at TU Dortmund University, where I mainly focus on cybersecurity, cloud security, databases, efficient data pipelines and DevSecOps / secure software development lifecycle. My work experience is at an IOT SaaS platform developer that does authentication, authorisation, data analyses and aggregation. In my free time I’m always on the lookout for new things to explore with my Corgi. Also see My private projects
Cybersecurity Advocate
At TU Dortmund, I lead the Cybersecurity Working Group and am actively involved in nurturing the TU Software Architecture Community.
Corgis and Coffee and Bouldering
Im also a big fan of Corgis (hence the name) and I’m actively involved in the breeding and breeding culture of Corgis in Germany and internationally. Also I build and maintain Corgi.Wiki
Furthermore I’m a proud owner of a Rancilio Silvia (the Linux of portafilters) and drinking as much coffee as I (safely) can.
If im not programming or designing software you can find me bouldering or on my bike.
